PROJECT: HERMAN MILLER INTERACTIVE
In early 2004 McKinney+Silver, an award winning advertising agency, solicited proposals from regional furniture suppliers for their new headquarters in Durham, NC. Among the potential solution providers was Raleigh-based Alfred Williams & Company.
Intent on showcasing their unique value to the customer, Alfred Williams relied on Marketecture for a creative response. The resulting presentation solution reflected the energy and enthusiasm exhibited to win the project. The team's vision was showcased in many forms, both digital and tactile. The Mirra Chair "Kiosk" provided a complete multimedia presentation package.
An integrated Dell laptop PC hosted an interactive version of the proposal. The chair included a built-in sound system, slot box containing printed materials, personalized props on the desktop, and various fabric and finish samples.
From the physical presentation of the Mirra kiosk with its various fabric samples, to the digital presentation that included multiple interactive options, the client could envision the proposed solution in their environment. As a result, Alfred Williams won the contract to furnish McKinney+Silver's brand new 30,000 square foot office environment.
